    Thanks everyone for the advice. I will see about the LLL in the area, I had forgotten to check that out. I just moved here a few months ago so I am still getting oriented in the area.

     I don't expect parenting advice from a pediatrician, in fact I would prefer they NOT provide any. My problem with the doctor was similar to what many of you had said ... I didn't ask for advice but in answering questions honestly got lots of unsolicited awful advice. I just would prefer a doc that knows what they are doing medically and will not lecture me on every parenting choice I make. 

     Thanks for your encouragement ladies :) hopefully this next doctor I try will be great!
