Induction frustration!

So I had my induction scheduled for 5:30am this morning. I live about an hour and a half from the hospital so I was awake at 3am. I was just about to head out the door when I get a call from the hospital saying that all the beds were full and they would call me back and give me an update on when I should come in. I honestly had no idea what the time frame of my call back would be so I stayed up for a couple hours and then fell asleep. I woke up at 9am and hadn't heard from the hospital so I called them and they are still full and told me to call back at noon. Of course I totally understand that a woman actually in labor is a lot more important that my induction in terms of priority. But I am just so frustrated since I had prepared myself mentally to go in this morning. At least baby gets to bake longer though. Alright done with my vent. Fingers crossed they can get me in today.

Ugh...understandable reasoning on their part but I see what you're saying. I can't imagine being all mentally prepared for the end only for it to get postponed. I hope you don't have to wait too long!!

I almost had that happen to me with DS.  I totally get where you're coming from.  Hopefully you're not waiting too long and you get in there soon.

I had that happen with DD.  I was supposed to go in on a Friday, they had me call back twice, then told me to call the next morning.  I wasn't actually able to get in until 4pm the next day.
