Thanks for the new thread and the summary! I'll be 12 weeks on Saturday and have my first regular OB appointment on Monday, then NT scan on Friday (a week from tomorrow).
In addition to the obvious fear that the pre-e will rear its ugly head even sooner and I'll have to deliver even earlier than 29 weeks, I'm also worried about how I'll handle bed rest with a busy mobile baby. (Jack isn't crawling yet, but the way he's progressing, he will be at some point during my second trimester.) One of our dogs is also getting very old and I'm having to lift and move her places, including outside for her to do her business. There's no way I'll be able to cope if I have to go on bed rest again (we can't afford to have someone come and help out)... and there's almost no doubt in my mind, with my BP already high, that I'll end up on bed rest. Our closest family are hundreds of miles away.
Other than that, we are sooo excited about this baby!!
I would try not to stress about the possibility of bed rest just yet. I would try and just take each day at a time and love up on that little baby you have at home. You and your LO are definitely in my prayers. Keep us updated on how your NT scan goes.
Thank you!! It feels inevitable, since I did both home bed rest and 11 days of hospital bed rest with Jack, and my BP is higher now than it was at 12 weeks with Jack, BUT, I love your positive spin and you're right, I need to just focus for now on the sweet baby I have at home, regardless of what may or may not happen!
