  • I'd say get a doc to check it out.  If its still there after you brush/scrape...good chance it is thrush.

  • Could be thrush but sounds like it is just plaque build up brush your tongue EVERYDAY! Also, tongue scrapers are great!

  • A thick yellow coating usually has to do with digestive complaints.  When it's yellow, usually it's indicated as "heat" signs in the body.

    Some common symptoms may be bloating, gas, indigestion, nausea with more foul smelling breath/bowel movements/gas.  

    I would take some probiotics to put in good bacteria into your digestive tract and drink more water or eat more watery foods (cucumbers, fruits, etc).

    I'm an acupuncturist and we always check our patients' tongue as part of diagnosis. :)
