DS has a fever :(

He had a great night tonight and even went to sleep quick. However he kept waking up. The last time he woke up and I got him he felt a little warm, but he fell right back asleep and I couldn't tell if his face was really warm or just felt that way because he was sleeping on it. He woke up again and he was definitely warm so I took his temp and it was 100.9. I gave him some acetimetophin and he nursed and fell back asleep. Has anyone eles's LO had a fever like this due to teething? I can't imagine what else it could be. He wasn't even fussy!

    It could be from teething. If he has no other symptoms. That is not too high. Just keep giving Tylenol to keep him comfortable. Can give every 4 hours. I am a pediatric rn. My kiddo is teething now but no fever.

    He also started with a runny, stuffy nose. : That can also be a sign of teething, yes? Or should I start thinking cold? He has his 6 month appt tomorrow, but I could try to get him in today if I had to.

    Yes teething sign. Nothing to do for cold anyway except humidifier, Tylenol, and saline nose drops. You are doing good mama!!
