I am planning on breastfedding while on maternity , but will need to pump when I go back to work. I'm torn between regular bottles and liners. Any suggestions either way. If I will be doing some breastfeading and pumping how fast will you go through the liners? I'm wondering if cost will be an issue
Re: Bottle question
Some babies are picky. It really depends on what kind of bottles your baby ends up taking. I'd get one of each of a few different kinds (I got lucky as my cousin gave me all the ones her baby had rejected) and try them. My DS will take any bottle but he prefers the Playtex Drop Ins (the ones with the liners). It seems like he gets less gas with them and he pretty much just likes them the best. DH says DS likes to play with the liner while drinking the bottle lol (he pushes it in while drinking). The liners can get expensive but most stores have a generic that still fits the Playtex bottles. Also, I just scored a great deal on the Playtex brand liners at Rite Aid a couple weeks ago (got 50 pack for $0.79 after +up reward). So if you look out for sales and stock up when you find a good sale they aren't too bad.
This. We have regular bottles because my kid took them and I wasn't going to mess with something that was working.
