Do I need to call the doctor?

Today I noticed that when I held LO on my left side my breast hurt.  I checked it out and felt a painful lump.  I nursed him more often on that side today and massaged it while I nursed.  Tonight I just had a look at my breast before pumping and it's bright red.  There's a bright red circle on my skin where I feel the lump.  Is this a blocked duct or mastitis?  Do I need to call my doctor?  TIA.

If you get a fever it is mastitis and call your dr. Might be a plugged duct right now.
