What do you think of the name Lydia?  Also, do you like the nn Lydie?  Thanks!

I love Lydia. It's one of the few biblical girls' names that doesn't feel completely beaten to death. It's pretty and feminine, and kind of "feels" like an alternative to Olivia, with the similar sounds (and the nickname Lydie being so close to Livy).

I really like it. A friend's 5 year old is Lydia and I believe she calls her Lyddie.

I will admit that at first all I could think of was Beetlejuice but I do like it a lot.  It's an older movie and the cartoon hasn't been on in eons, no one younger than 18 has probably seen either of them!

My Baby B will be named Lydia. (Baby A is named Audrey) so obviously I LOVE them name. Not sure about the nickname though, although I am sure it will naturally happen.
