how are another kids allergies your problem?  Are your children allowed to eat peanuts/peanut butter at home?

And this is why allergy parents are fearful every single time they send their kids to school, or to someone's house to play or to a party.

OP - I think changing clothes and washing hands was appropriate.  Thank you for being so considerate toward another child.

If she's not wearing the same clothes, I wouldn't worry about it.

Between that and the hand washing, I think you should be good, but dang, can I just say how much I appreciate a parent who would actually think that whole thing through?

Ditto that!!!  My son had very serious allergies, including peanuts--and to know that a paernt actually cares is pretty neat.  We were lucky though that he could be around peanuts---like in a restaurant that had peanuts there---whereas some kids can't even be around people who have been around peanuts.  THAT would scare me even more than I already am.
