Nonseedy poop

Ds used to have seedy poop. I've noticed that as time has passed it is more runny any not seedy. Sometimes it is a bit watery. He does not seem to be in pain or uncomfortable He is getting more bottles now but it is all bm. Is this normal? It is still orange / mustard colored and he has plenty of wet diapers.

Thoughts?

Thanks!

Re: Nonseedy poop

  • It's probably fine.  Poop is weird.  I remember obsessing over poop (color, consistency, frequency) for a few months when we were figuring out that DD had a milk protein allergy.  Generally speaking, unless there's blood or a lot of mucous it's probably fine.  Our pedi basically said any color of fall leaves, except red, is ok.  LOL.  Consistency will change from time to time.  Since he's on an all liquid diet, it's going to be runny.

  • I've noticed the same thing, I asked the pedi this week and she said it was fine.

  • I just asked the pedi about this today. DD used to have mustard like, seedy poop. It has now changed to a greenish/orange with no seedyness to it. He said that there is only concern if it is black, red, or clear. It should be fine!
