As summer comes to an end, I thought a poll is in order...

What vacations did you take? Dh and I went on a road trip from Salt Lake to Denver, and then from Denver to Southern Utah and back to Salt Lake.

We also went boating a few times, my favorite was our Flaming Gorge trip.

I went to the Bahamas for a friends wedding  

What was your favorite vacation?  The road trip with DH.  We went to a few ghost towns, saw petroglyphs, and spent a few days in Moab at an awesome hotel on the Colorado river.  It was amazing

What is your favorite past time in the summer?  Spending time outside, camping, boating, hiking, yard work, the list could go on and on.

What happened this summer that will be most memorable?  The road trip with DH and I met Cookiequeen

What are you looking forward to in the upcoming seasons?  I love the fall, the mountains a beautiful in the fall.  I cannot wait to Snowboard.  I hope we get snow this winter!

What was your favorite vacation?  Cape Cod... its our favorite place to visit...

What is your favorite past time in the summer?  Enjoying the sunny weather and relaxing on the beach.  Enjoyed the break from IF

What happened this summer that will be most memorable?  Not the best memory, but one that I won't forget, had a missed miscarriage in early  July

What are you looking forward to in the upcoming seasons? Fall is my favorite season.  Fall is so beautiful on the East Coast.  Am looking forward to starting my next cycle in October.

What was your favorite vacation?  Cape Cod... its our favorite place to visit... (I've never been.  I'd love to go!)

What happened this summer that will be most memorable?  Not the best memory, but one that I won't forget, had a missed miscarriage in early  July (I'm so sorry!)

What are you looking forward to in the upcoming seasons? Fall is my favorite season.  Fall is so beautiful on the East Coast.  Am looking forward to starting my next cycle in October. (I love the fall and the changes colors!  GL with your upcoming cycle!)

What vacations did you take? We went to Punta Cana in May. I know that isn't technically summer but it was our biggest vaca so I am inclding it.  I had a conference for work at the Mount Washington Hotel in NH. Again, it was for work but it is a beautiful hotel and DH went with me (it's more a social conference than work..) so I am including it.  Finally, we went to Cape Cod last week.

What was your favorite vacation? I'll go with Punta Cana since it was the "real" vacation. DH's parents live at the Cape so we go there a lot and it less "vacationy" than I'd like since there are 18000 relative around!

What is your favorite past time in the summer? I do love sitting on the beach at the Cape reading a book.  So peaceful when 18000 relatives are not with us..

What happened this summer that will be most memorable? I got a 2nd kitten in June. His name is Tulley and he is just pure joy. Love my kitties!

What are you looking forward to in the upcoming seasons? Hmm. not sure. I am trying not to think ahead right now.

The Cape is one of our "built-in" vacations as well since my DH's parents live there (like you said...lovely place, but never feels quite "vacationy").  What town are your in-laws in?  Mine are in East.ham.

(I hate it when vacations do not feel vacationy!  That is how the Bahamas felt for me.  It was only four days and I worked a lot of hours before and after my trip.)

Love my kitties!  (I'm jealous!  There was the cutest male stray cat hanging out in our neighborhood.  i wanted to take him in so bad.  DH would not let me have him, because he was a longed hair kitty and he was a male.  A good friend from work took him in!  He is adapting well with her, and her little farm!!!)

What are you looking forward to in the upcoming seasons? Hmm. not sure. I am trying not to think ahead right now.  (I totally get that!  If I didn't love snowboarding I would not have anything I'd want to look ahead for either!)

Mine are in Center.ville.  Taylor S.wift was spotted at my inlaws' church this summer since she is dating a Kenn.edy. I did not see her myself but my 12 yr old niece was thrilled that Taylor waved to her after Mass!

What vacations did you take?  NONE.  We didn't go anywhere this summer...

What was your favorite vacation?  Ever?  I'd have to go with my honeymoon (since we hardly travel otherwise)... we went skiing for a week and then to Hawaii for a week.  It was amazing!

What is your favorite past time in the summer?  Well, we usually go to a ton of concerts in the summer - we didn't this year to save money.  And we enjoy the "BBQ circut" where we have a BBQ to go to almost every weekend.

What happened this summer that will be most memorable? Sadly, this will be known as the summer of my m/c on 6/15. 

What are you looking forward to in the upcoming seasons?  Well, I'm hoping and praying that these two embies I have inside are snuggling in for a nice 40 week nap... but I'm also looking forward to helping my friend plan her wedding, my parents moving back up here permanently and starting the design on our new house!

What vacations did you take? Went to Door County for 24 hrs for our 5th anniversary in July. Went home to Chicago a few weekends in there. BUT as of Saturday we'll be visiting my grandparents for a week in Texas. Can't wait!

What was your favorite vacation? Going home for my birthday was fun.

What is your favorite past time in the summer? Seeing all the concerts we did with many friends and family. We saw 21 different acts in 26 days. We forgot about IF and just lived. It was fabulous.

What happened this summer that will be most memorable? My cousin stayed with us for the entire summer to take an internship and getting to know him better was awesome. He is hilariouos. I never, ever would have guessed I would have heard half the stories coming out of his mouth.

What are you looking forward to in the upcoming seasons? I am dreading the end of the year because my work life becomes so incredibly stressful. I'm a pricing analyst and I have to change over thousands of prices and reports, etc.
