Supply Q b4 its a prob- LO in NICU

I want to make sure that what I am doing will be okay and that I will not end up with a supply issue down the road.

LO has been in the NICU and I have been pumping during the day every 2 hrs and every 4 hrs overnight which actually just makes me wake up once during my sleep.  Today we were able to successfully bf but my scheduled of pumping really got messed up.  Previously I was basically pumping following her feedings that I was present for (pumping about every 3 hrs between 8am and 2pm) and then every 2 hrs until 10 pm.  Today I pumped some pressure off right before feeding (nurse thought she was having some trouble latching bc I was hard) and pumped from the breast that she did not feed off of.

**Also we successfully bf w/ the use of a sheild, the LC said we can wean off of that slowly but LO needed the nipple further back in her mouth.  Any suggestions on that would also be appreciated**

My questions then: Should I pump to relieve some fullness for LO as she is learning? Should I pump other breast afterwards? How often do I pump once LO is home and is EBF? I will be going back to work in 10 weeks and do want to freeze but am not sure exactly how that works?

I appreciate any help or suggestions any of you pumping pros may have
