Heartbroken..

There's nothing more heartbreaking than going to your very first seven week ultrasound expecting to see or hear the heartbeat only to find that nothing was there...

Just want my body to get rid of it, so I can try again... Trying my hardest to stay optimistic...

    2 years, 2 surgeries, 2 clomid fails, 2 IUIs, 1 loss, IVF #1 - 10/25/10 = BFP!, DS is now 3.5yrs!
    TTC #2 - 6/12 surgery #3, FET #1 & 1.2 = BFN, 12/2012 FET #2 = BFP! DD is 1.5 yrs!
    Surprise! 12/16/14 BFP, loss #2 12/31/14

    I can't wait for the "im getting a divorce" post in 5 years or so because your husbands were fed up with your disgusting chair asses from playing on the knot all day and getting fired 4-5 times for not doing any work. you guys are all winners!! ~ Laur929

    I am so sorry. I know what you are going through is so terribly painful. I hope that you are back here soon and that you have a healthy 9 months.

    Im so sorry for your loss. I know that that must've been devastating for you. I do know what you are going thru. I went in to my first u/s at 7 1/2 wks and found out that my babies didnt have heartbeats. It is very difficult, but you will make it thru all of this. The miscarriage/pregnancy loss boards are really great for support. Take care of yourself & take the time to grieve your loss.  I hope that you are back on these boards with a happy and healthy pregnancy soon.

    So sorry... words cannot express.  I've told myself since the beginning of my TTC journey that I would mourn any miscarriage (if it happened) and tell myself it was for the best.  Maybe it's our body's way of telling us that the baby would not be healthy.  Still, it doesn't make it any easier.  Best wishes for a quick recovery and another speedy exciting positive pregnancy test again soon.     Me-41, Hubby-40.
    1st BFP-8/17/12!  Missed Miscarriage discovered @ 8 week US.  D&C.
    2nd BFP-2/13/13!  Blighted Ovum discovered @ 8 week US. Natural miscarriage.
    3rd BFP-5/22/13!  By early June, progesterone plummeting.  Another loss.
    August 2013 - started Donor Egg process, but surprise BFP with my own eggs.

    So sorry to hear. I don't want to give false hope, but it is also possible that you are not quite as far along as you originally thought, and it may be too early to see/hear a heartbeat. I would go back in a few months if there have not been any physical signs of miscarriage and have another ultrasound performed just to be sure.

    Thanks everyone. The doctor was basing off my last period which was on 7/10, that put me at 7 weeks. She said that she definitely should have seen something and it was just plain old empty sac. She took a lot of blood work and they're checking the HCG levels yesterday and Friday to see if they're going down with a follow up ultrasound next week. I'm not going to hang on to the hope that she's still there. Instead I'm being optimistic and ready to try again. :-)
