It's my birthday, and while it's very nice to receive birthday calls, it's rather annoying to start receiving calls starting at 2 am. I live in another time zone than my family. I have for four years. They know the time difference. While it was slightly annoying then, I feel it's down right rude now. They are aware that my baby isn't sleeping through the night yet. To top it off, I had just gotten my LO back to sleep around 5 ish and ring ring ring. By this point, I was starting to sleep through the rings when my husband had to notify me that my "alarm" was going off. I think I snapped at him saying it wasn't my alarm. He then wanted a full blown out convo about who was calling. Aargh why didn't I think to turn my phone off at all???? Ok, I'll quit being a brat. Hope everybody's night was full of zzzz's.

Re: It's my birthday and I'll cry if I want to
Same here. I actually don't think I've ever heard it ring. We have a land line but we have the handset in the kitchen.
Thank you :
Same for me. I have lost my phone before while it was set to vibrate--not fun.
I'm happy for you in that you have so many friends that care enough to call you on your birthday, but sorry they didn't stop and consider the time difference before calling you up. That's rather inconsiderate! Oh, and happy birthday =P
