We are naming her Emily. DH came up with it a couple months ago and we both love it, so we're sticking with it. It took forever for us to agree on a name for DS so I'm relieved we won't have to go through that process again!

We are naming our little girl Viola Rose. The name comes from my husband's two grandmother. The first name of one and the middle name of the other grandmother. I love this name.

We're stuck on a middle name though. I like Mae, which is also the first half of MIL's maiden name, but DH is not fond of it, so it's back to the drawing board. We're telling people that if they want to pay for her first year of college, they can pick the middle name for us
We are struggling with middle names. So far we have:
Ava Raya Grace Lily Rowan (DH favourite)
I will likely let DH pick the middle name, as long as I am ok with it. I don't have to love it. I picked the first name, so I figure good compromise, and I do like Rowan, just isn't my fave.
and the top girl names we love are also in the top 5 for 2011...the one we love the most is sophia...but we had decided on that before the list of names came out...so we're torn.....i don't know if i want to go with such a popular name....i mean, my name, danielle, is very popular, there were 5 of us in my graduating class, yet it was #30 on the list for 1979....but we really love the name, and it goes well with our last name- gomez
we also love olivia, again, super popular, and good friends of the family just named their baby girl olivia (she's like, 3 mos old now) so i'm not comfortable using that name, even though we only see them like, once a year
also love the name angelina, my grandmother's name, but then he wants to use his g-ma's name as well, cata (not sure if that's how it's really spelled) as the middle name...but i'm not sure i want to go down that slippery slope of naming after relatives
we seem to be drawn to girl names that end with an 'a' (i also love the name emma...again top 5)

If you really love it, I say go for it!
that's what i keep saying, then i keep doubting myself...i know i don't hear it a lot now, and neither my niece or nephew have anyone in their class named sophia. but they're also 6 and 8....
however, we have decided if we go with sophia, she gets a little handbag to walk around with and her first words have to be "picture it..sicily....." (golden girls reference- did i have to explain that?)
We find out in two weeks if we are pink or blue.. if pink, we are naming her Jaina May... May is the middle name of both DH's grandmothers, so even though I didn't love it at first, it goes nice with the first name we picked & I got to choose the first name so he can have his May lol.
If our first LO had been a girl, she would have been Juniper Rose. Juniper is too close to Jude, so if LO2 had been a girl, she would have been Frances Naomi after each of our paternal grandmothers.
Middle name will be Nicole (my middle name) or Noelle. Last name sounds like Battery. I'm leaning towards Henley Nicole *Battery*
My MN is Nicole, too. DH's is Nicholas. We were thinking of using Nicole, but my little brother's gf (since HS-I'm pretty sure, and so are they, that they will get married after college) is named Nichole. I think it would be a bit weird to have two Nicole's in the family, even if we do use the NN Nicky.
After 22 months TTC and the loss of our identical twins at 10w6d, we're excited about our rainbow baby!
Stick, baby, Stick!

Ruth is the top runner. If we see her and she doesn't look like a Ruth than her name will be Audrey.
I think it's going to be Ruth though, because we've already taken to calling her that. (i.e. "I found a cute swing for Ruth", "How's mommy and Ruth today?" "Is Ruth liking her lunch?")
We are having the hardest time with names. We had a boy named picked out that was after all 4 great-grandfathers: John Patrick (nn: Jack), but now we can't use that. Here's our girl list:
Nicole Catherine (nn: Nicky)
Addison Elizabeth (nn: Addy)
Evy Addison
Lily Addison
DH LOVES the name Addison. Ever since we started dating 10 years ago, he said he wanted to name a son Addison (because it means son of Adam- his name). I had to do some convincing over the past few years that we had to use it as a girl name. I'm a bit worried about the popularity of it, but at least its declining.
We are naming our little girl Delphine after my great-grandmother and using Ellie as a nickname. We haven't decided on a middle name yet, but we have a short list.

Baby248 - ETA 1/10/13
We haven't decided yet, but here's our list - Natasha, Sophie or Zara. Our last name is kinda long, so I am leaning towards Zara for now
We are team green by decision of the baby!
Our top girl name is Ava Jane. I know it's terribly popular...but DH and I love it!
Henry Cavill...You're welcome!

Thanks! I go back and forth. Some days I'm all about Brynn and other days I really want to use Evelyn. Any suggestions on middle names?

We have decided on calling our baby girl Faith Elizabeth Jane!!!
DD's name is Harper Jane
If this LO was a girl (it's a boy) it would have been Penelope Marie
Rose was on my short list. Also, had Faith. Our last name is two syllables.

We're having a boy but our girl name was Anabelle (Ana for short). I love(d) that name!!!
We are leaning toward old school/classic:
Eleanor (Love, but very popular)
Marguerite (literary reference and also love the nn Margo)
Ayda
Etc. Really just at the drawing board for girls names. We had a boy name nailed down.
Middle name will end with "een" sound. My grandmothers, mom, and I all have middle names that end like that. Thinking Eireen or Colleen.
We are naming our LO, Willow.
We are naming our baby girl Eden Harper. Our families are lukewarm but we love it and don't really care. lol
If we have a girl, we are pretty certain her name will be Ella Blue
I have always loved the name Ella and Blue is a family name
We find out on Thursday what team we are on.
If we are team pink we are naming her Zoey Maye.
If our first LO had been a girl, she would have been Juniper Rose. Juniper is too close to Jude, so if LO2 had been a girl, she would have been Frances Naomi after each of our paternal grandmothers.
Love that NN!

We are team green, but if it's a girl we like the name Lyric.
My friend had a boy, but if it would've been a girl she would have gone with Elaina
