3rd tri?

Just wondering if you consider the start of you 27th week the beginning of the 3rd tri or is it the start of the 28th? So far out of the websites that I use, TB is the only one that says week 28. What are you going by?

I'm assuming I have one week left of 2nd tri, and when I turn 28 weeks, I'll be in 3rd.  This is how my midwife counts it, so that's how I'm counting.

If you divide 40 weeks by 3, third tri is technically 26w4d and a few hours so I absolutely count 27 weeks as third trimester

I say 26 2/3 weeks... which is also the date TB gave me, when I calculated my due date way back when...

If a pregnancy is 40 weeks, on average, and a trimester is 1/3 of that... 40/3 is 13 1/3. So, the 2nd Tri starts at 13 1/3 weeks, and the 3rd Tri starts at 26 2/3 weeks. As 7day weeks don't always break down evenly into thirds, it's probably easier to just round the numbers... 13 and 27 weeks.

But, like I said, TB gave me a 2nd Tri start date, a 3rd Tri start date, and an EDD when I calculated my due date basesd on my LMP using their Due Date Calculator. So I don't know why they'd now say 28 weeks...

This. I just plugged mine in and it told me 3rd tri starts tomorrow, at 26w 5d.

I counted 28 weeks as the start of the 3rd trimester.

My midwife said 28 weeks when I asked. But what's really confusing to me, is it the 28th week of pregnancy, or after I turn 27 weeks, or after I'm 28 weeks along, or the 29th week? They measure so stupid... 

I guess it doesn't matter anymore since I'm already halfway through that 29th week, but you'd think they'd make it easy on us. We have enough to deal with...

 I've been using this calculator and even though their are 3 different dates, they are all this week.  I'm picking the middle one which means I'm in my 3rd trimester tomorrow.

My doctor just told me yesterday she concideres it 29 weeks. What ever
