Wondering if anyone else has experienced this...for the past 6-7 months my LO has been a dream at bedtime...put her in her crib, kiss her good night and then you don't hear a peep from her. She doesn't need a bink or anything. The last two nights, however, have been not so good. I put her in her crib fine, but after about 3-4 minutes she starts crying (it's not initially when I put her down or else I would think it could be separation anxiety). Last night we gave in and gave her a bink because we had company here. Tonight I was determined to not give in and give her a bink (DH was not so determined)...but she eventually went to sleep in about 20-25 minutes.
Has anybody else experienced this? Is this a short phase? We never had to do Ferber because she has been a dream - but even 20 minutes tonight and I didn't know how long I could take it. Advice - please! Thanks!
P.S. She does take a bink for naps but has never for bedtime.
Re: bedtime help for a normally great sleeper
Maybe they have been really bothering her the past few days. I am sure it won't last forever. My motto when things start really getting stressful...It's just a phase!
Hang in there.
