Ok ladies, I have a question about my pumping at work schedule. Here's the thing - I work at a daycare, and LO is coming with me, so I'll be able to feed her whenever she needs to eat....but, one day a week she is staying with my MIL, so I will need to pump that day. Because of our schedule and when they are able to get a teacher in to cover me though, this would be my schedule for LO's day off....I would feed her right before I leave for work around 7:00. Then I would be pumping at 10:45, then sometime on my lunch between noon and 1:00, and then again at 2:00, and then I'm done at 4:30 and would be able to go home and feed her. This is the only time I'd be able to do it because of like I said when we would have extra teachers available. I'm just concerned that three times pumping in that time period from 10:45 until about 2:15 would be too much and I should just pump twice and then just make up one extra pump like in the evening or something, since it will only be one day per week....Thoughts??? TIA!

Re: pumping at work question
Since it will only be one time per week, I wouldn't worry about it too much. It probably won't be enough to throw off your production.
Unless you've had problems with over-supply, I would pump as much as you can. If you get too much, then you can decide to drop feedings.
