Lio is refusing a bottle at daycare. We had a long weekend last weekend and he only went WednesdayFriday and only took a couple ounces at a time verses his 4 oz he's doing fine nursing at home and when I come in at lunch to nurse him. Should I try a new nipple/bottle? We currently use Avent. His teacher says he turns his head away when it's offered. Suggestions, thoughts??

Re: At daycare refusing bottle 3 months
DD is doing the same thing.
I went back to work last Tuesday. She can't get into daycare until Sept 4th so my mom is watching her at our house until she can start. I feed her at 7am, 12pm on my lunch break, and then get home around 5:20ish or so. She has refused the bottle except for 1-2oz bottle last Thursday morning. We have tried Tommee Tippee and Dr.Browns(we had them from DS). Nope. She wants nothing to do with it.
At this point, I think its just stubborness. When she wants to bottle, she drinks it just fine(she has taken maybe 5 bottles total since we started trying to give her one). I don't think switching bottles matters to her. She just wants me. If she's hungry enough, she will take it.
I have been very stressed and anxious about this. I weighed her yesterday because I was concerned she wasn't eating enough last week. She gained 5 ounces in 4 days. I think she's eating just fine then
I hope it works out better for you!
