LO doesn't like breasts when engorged.

When I let LO have his four hour stretch to sleep, he now doesn't want my breast because they are so engorged by that time. I can't let him not nurse then because my supply will dwindle. How do you latch a baby when your breasts are really full and hard? Thanks!

We are experiencing the exact same thing right now. I've heard to hand express a bit so that your breast isn't as full... sometimes easier said than done when you've got a screaming baby. good luck!

This happens to me. I find that what works is cupping my beast in the C position with thumb on top and other fingers on bottom. This helps him latch on and you can hold it there until he gets enough out that you can let go. For my LO it just takes a little extra work when I am engorged but he can handle it if I help him manage it.

I just pump a little from each breast when they get too engorged and LO is asleep.
