Could it be reflux?

DS has always had a hard time with naps...taking his best naps at home in his swing. As I mentioned in a post a couple days ago, he'll only get about a half hour nap in at daycare every day. Lately he's had a lot of wet burps and spit up, even awhile after he eats. Tonight, he nursed to sleep, I laid him down and he was asleep as I left the room. 2 minutes later, he was screaming awake. After two hours of trying to rock, nurse, and give him bottles, he was still wide awake, so I gave in and put him in his swing, and he was asleep immediately. I HATE to rely on a swing, but its the only thing that works! He was sleeping great, through the night, like 2 months ago, but its just been terrible lately. Could it be reflux? Or maybe something I'm eating since I'm nursing? Or any other ideas??? Thanks!

He slept through the night in the swingi had to wake him for daycare this morning. Anyone have experience with those crib wedges? Maybe we need to try that??

Re: Could it be reflux?

  • It is a little late in the game for reflux to start.  This is the age when most reflux babies are growing out of their reflux.  Have you changed your diet alot?  Added a new food to his?  He may just be teething. GL to you.  I hope your LO gets some good sleep soon.
