DD started solids around 5 months. She eats anything I offer with gusto. My older DD was so slow with solids, so this is new territory to me. DD2 is EBF and doesn't take a bottle. She will only feed in a dark, quiet place. And even then, usually nods off after 10 to 15 minutes. It's just crazy. Though I offer more frequently, she will only really feed 3ish times throughout the whole day. Then she has a marathon feeding sesh just before bed lasting prob 45 mins and then is out until 4am when she wakes for a snack.
We are currently doing solids 2x a day, but DD loves it. I'm worried about balancing BM with solids, as I know BM should be the main form of nutrition at this point. However, she gets MAD if I try to nurse her, but then will happily eat 1/4 c of food and wait to nurse til nap time.
How do I handle this? Just offer and move on if she isn't interested? She is now just over 6 months, and weighs 20lbs and is 29 inches, so I don't think she's nutritionally hurting...
