Did you do it in the "right" order?

We met in college and moved in after graduating - 2 years-ish. Then we bought a house - 5 years-ish. We got married 7 years after we met, and got pg 3 years into marriage. I'm happy with the order we went in, though our parents weren't too terribly keen on us buying a house without being married.

Also, woah, I met DH 11 years ago next month. This makes me feel old.

We did! We dated, got engaged, got married, got pregnant... We didn't live together before we got married. We probably would've except for that my husband's family is extremely conservative.

I suppose so, we dated 1.5 years, got engaged, married 1.5 years later, bought a house after 1 year of marriage, baby 6 years later. I don't necessarily think that our "right" is everyone elses' "right," though, but it worked for us!

I think we did it in the "right" order but that is because I believe in living together before marriage.  We dated for 4 years (starting in high school), lived together for 2 during college, got engaged right before graduation, married a little less than a year later, got pg 4 months after the wedding, bought a house when I was 3 months pg, then pg again 2 months after DS's 2nd bday.  

I call it the right order because it was exactly how I planned things.

Started on the knot and never made it to the nest.  I got pregnant 2 weeks after my wedding.  Whoops!  

Since then I just stayed on the pump for parenting and then DS2!
