How long does it take....

DS will be 5 weeks old tomorrow. We have been dealing with thrush for a little over a week and before we were both able to get on medication there was a day where the pain was so unbearable I wasn't able to bring myself to pump or to nurse him for a little over 24 hours.

Needless to say, my supply has taken a dive. I didn't nurse him from about 4 pm last Wednesday until 6 pm Thusday. Since then, I have been nursing when he has hunger cues but having to follow up many feedings with a bottle to supplement my lowered supply.

Today, we have had to give him 7 ounces of formula which is way less than I had given him this time yesterday so I have been encouraged that I am starting to produce at least a little more than I was.

Has anyone else had a similar experience with trying to reestablish their supply? How long did it take for things to get back to normal?
