Spaghetti question

Do you cut the noodles if it is angel hair pasta? Should I limit the amount of tomato sauce (not just for mess reasons) because of the acidity?

I cut noodles and give a decent amount of sauce but not so the pasta is swimming in it.  DD hasn't had an issue with acidity at all.

i cut it up in tiny pieces and i add some sauce but not a ton.  DD loves it.

I cut the noodles.  Are you making the sauce or is it storebought?  If homemade, I say don't worry about the amount.  If storebought I'd use sparingly - not because of the acid, but because of the sodium.

Homemade. We have a huge batch that we froze. I might try mini penne cut in half because the anglehair is hard even for me to pick up with my fingers.

Yeah - spaghetti is my guy's least favorite pasta shape.  He gets frustrated and has trouble getting it in his mouth.  Penne is a big hit.  I give him the regular size and don't cut it.  It's cute to watch him "bite" it with his gums.  He puts it in his mouth half-way, clamps down, and then pulls it.

Maybe I'll try that. Now that she has her top and bottom two, she likes biting her puffs to hear the crunch.
