nanny starts tomorrow...any advice?

For those that had or have a nanny, any advice for me? I am not as nervous as I thought I would be yet, but I will still have a hard time leaving for work.

It might be a good thing that I am crazy busy at work (at work now procrastinating actually) so I am distracted.

Will I be annoying if I call her a few times through out the day tomorrow?

Ours starts next Tues but she is coming over Wed while I am here to get to know our routine and where everything is.  I am so nervous!  I don't think calling in annoying.  I think it's being a mom   I am probably going to come home on my lunch hour at least the first day.

I wouldn't care if I was being annoying. My mom and my husband watch the kids while I am at work and I call them frequently throughout the day. I would call more if I had someone I didn't know and trust 100% looking after them. My only request is that they don't answer the phone if the babies are crying.  Hearing them cry gets me too upset.

I call and text mine regularly....and I stay home! I'm sure she is expecting to hear from you periodically.
