using beaba for finger foods?

hi all,

we have the beaba which i used to make a lot of my son's purees. he has now begun having just the cubes of steamed veggies cooked with the beaba as well. school starts next week, so i will be back to work. do any of you prepare lunch ahead of time to send with your baby while you're at work? he is just with my mom, but she has my niece and nephew too, and not so much time to be steaming veggies during the day. anything i can do in advance for her i'd like to, just not sure how long the cubes would stay.

thanks!

Re: using beaba for finger foods?

  • My son stays home with a nanny but I prepare all his meals the nighte before and they are defrosted by the next morning. I take frozen cubes and put them in bowls for bf l and d. She just wrms them in the micro and stirs well to eliminate hot spots. You could send him with containers of defrosted cubes and finger foods. They even haves small lidded glass containers if you don't want to use plastic.

  • I just microwave them :). Takes about 30 seconds and they're never steaming hot.

    If you don't want to do that you could just keep them in the fridge for up to 3 days.
