Sleep problems after travel (XP Oct2011)

So we just got back from a two week trip in which we so-slept with our 10 month old because she was too big for the pack and play we brought.  Well, she wasn't too big, but she is just a mover when she sleeps that she kept running into the sides and waking up.  So my husband just brought her into bed with us.  So now we are back and she has a lot of problems going to sleep in her own crib.  Before the trip, she would sleep 8:30-6:30 and I could hold her in my arms, pat her on the back, and place her in her crib and she would be away to dreamland.  Now, if I hold her in my arms and try to pat her, she struggles to try to get out of my arms.  So I try to keep her up to make her very tired (it was a five hour time change) and then put her in her crib to sleep.  It ends up where she falls sleep on the couch or her mat downstairs and I have to move her to her crib upstairs, but it never fails that she will awaken the moment I move her, even if she looks like she is in deep sleep.  She also needs one of us to be near her to fall asleep.  Just now, she was falling asleep sitting up in my lap, so I took her upstairs, she woke up, but I placed her in her crib anyways.  She is still not asleep and is crying her lungs out 30 minutes later.  It has been this way for the 6 days since we have been home.  Before, I used Ferber to sleep train her and it took 2 nights, but we never let her sleep with us in our bed.  Now I'm not sure how to get her back to where she will just go to sleep in her own crib and not cry for hours on end.  Anyone have any similar experience?  Thanks.
