Saturdays (GIF style)

Soo everyone around here has their schtick and I don't particularly feel that I have one just yet, sooo I have decided that from now on every Saturday, I will post a new thread stating the following:

• The boards on Saturdays are dead and I hate it! (I bump from work and I work today too!)
• Invitation to anyone online who wants to participate, but has already read through/responded to all the posts, to post in said (this) thread with whatever they wish; a "free for all"/ random thread, if you will.

And now, a stream of GIFs describing why Saturdays suck soo much:

I usually get woken up around 5:30AM by my dog who wants to be let out (and my husband works on the weekends sooo I actually have to get up):

But she cries and looks like this:

So I get up and take her outside, I stand there with my eyes closed until she comes back in, then I rush back to bed so that I can sleep until 8:00AM:

Alarm goes off at 8:00AM:

I get dressed and get to work and it's dead because it's SATURDAY so I just sit at my desk:

Since it's sooo dead at work, I decide to see what excitement I can find on TB:

And I find nothing:

But today I have this GREAT idea!!!!:

I'm going to make a new post and EVERYONE is going to see it and RESPOND and it's going to be GLORIOUS!!!!:

DH started on the nursery this week and he kept saying how he was going to do all this work patching the walls and "it'll probably look exactly like this when I finish and be a complete waste of time!". So I was all like:

Then I get home yesterday, and he's all:

"THE NURSERY LOOKS FCUKING AWESOME!!"

"I SHOULD HAVE TAKEN BEFORE AND AFTER PICTURES"

 

Meanwhile, I'm like:

It does look really good so far! (Can't wait to decorate)

I wish I knew!  Every time DH starts something (usually something he's never fixed or built before, so it's totally understandable & expected that it won't be an easy task), within 5 minutes he's all

But I will admit a couple of weeks ago when I thought I'd be all "artsy fartsy" and make those god forsaken tissue poms for the nursery mobile:

I went to the store and bought all of the supplies and left the store like:

Got home, showed DH what all I bought:

Then I sat down and got started... worked on it for about thirty minutes and then I was like:

And because of the hormones, I spent the rest of the day all:

Oh my gah. Usually when I start a project and I can't figure it out, I'm all..

Please attach a picture, as I have not a single idea what style you are talking about...

But on a reallllllly unrelated note, I'm completely clipping and filing my nails right now.

I haven't noticed a change in my hair, but my, my, my...my nails are strong and grow soo fast now!

Belly band maternity pants. They dig into my abdomen and leave red marks.. so uncomfortable.

Mine are getting wild too. I need to paint there, because the nail polish is only a thin strip on the ends. I'm waiting for someone to ask if they're french manicured.

Oooooh THOSSSSE!! Yeh, fuu'get those! I found some of those at the thrift store right after my BFP and they lasted until like week 11...After that they became unbearably uncomfortable.

 

And don't get me started on those stupid belly bands. I was never able to use those...

DH got up at the asscrack of dawn to play golf.

I was promised that we would go food shopping when he got home (so I didn't have to carry everything myself), but we had NOTHING in the house to eat til then. Started contemplating...

He FINALLY came home and "had to take care of something outside real quick"- which turned into an hour. Still no food.

And then we went for cheeseburgers!

Ran way too many errands...

Didn't get anything fun, like clothes for me, which I desperately need since apparently my clothes don't want to cover my belly anymore.

Apparently I can't walk around for too long, because when I get home there's a lot of this happening:

So I've been sitting on the couch watching tv with DH for hours now because I don't feel like / have no energy to do anything.

And he puts on J. Edgar...

 

The only silver lining is that tomorrow he's ripping up the carpet so the new one can be installed on Monday! So FINALLY we're going to start and finish the nursery this week!

Quick rundown: My friend does pageants, they're more Miss America than Toddlers and Tiaras. Around here we have festivals for everything - Sugar Festival, Rice Festival, Relay for Life Festival, etc. They just celebrate.. whatever. And every festival has a queen, so they do pageants for them. Interview, evening gowns, judges, that sort of thing.

They're kind of ridiculous, truthfully. But it's fun to watch the trainwreck.

And everytime people clap for the contestants, LO goes..

I love a good trainwreck more than anything! That dance gif just killed me. Killed. That sounds like it would be fun to go watch. And really, I'm all for anything that makes the LO go
