    My little man was born at 30 weeks due to PTL. We are unsure of the reasons. He was born at 3 lbs, 3 oz. 

    We have our 6 month appointment this week...he is around 17lbs now. We are hoping to get the go ahead for solids now.

     

    Aiden spent 5 weeks in the NICU. I had the steroid injections and he never required oxygen during his stay. He was just a feeder and grower. He went through several IV's because he was on TPN/Lipids for 6 days. He also pulled out his OG tube and then they placed an NG tube.

    Aiden proved the "wimpy white boy" syndrome wrong.
