Did you get your TAC? How did it go?
I talked to Dr. Davis about it last week. He was actually ope to doing it laproscopically or via my existing incision. I think we are going to wait 6-12 months to do it, but Im glad that a plan is starting to come together

Re: jacque
I did! It went really well. Surgery took an hour. Super easy! So glad I went the Robotic-Lap route. I was back at work on Tuesday (surgery was on a Friday). Pain was minimal, I only needed pain pills for two days. Bleeding was pretty light too.
My doctor was really pleased with the placement and thinks I can have a good result with hopefully no bed rest.
I will advise to double/triple check with your insurance to makes sure it's covered. I got a pre-bill from the hospital last week for $25k!! I just about fell over when I saw that. I had no idea the surgery was that expensive. Luckily my insurance covers it.
Are you going with Dr. D? That's great. I've heard nothing but wonderful things about him.
Im so glad it went well! Do you feel so much better now? Will you still have to be followed by an OB and MFM?
I think I will probably go with Dr.D. There is no one in my immediate area that does them and he is only about a 3 hour drive.
Im hoping this helps minimize bedrest for me too. Having a baby/child at home really ups the stakes for that part. Obviously the goal is a full term, healthy baby, but with a TVC or a wait and see approach I worry that it is at a serious emotional and financial cost to my family.
