So it has been over 48 hours since Skye's last NG tube feeding. Today she has been feeding ad lib, and passed her car seat test. As long as all goes well overnight she might come home tomorrow (assuming she eats well, does not have any bad events, and has acceptable weight gain in the morning). If not, they anticipate keeping her another day or two. Please cross your fingers for us, that we might have a homecoming tomorrow! After two months in NICU, I'm ready for her to come home.
Re: Cross your fingers for us, please, ladies!
That's what I'm afraid of! She hasn't been having any problems lately but I'm really hoping there's no bad luck "go figure" moment with a random desat or something.
