I totally agree. I hated that my bridal shower was a surprise....I had full hair & makeup on for weeks prior to the day just in case. The last thing I would want is a surprise baby shower. Maybe it's just me but I want to look my best for the baby shower & it's hard these days when you feel a little bit fat, a little bit clumsy & ALOT vulnerable. Plus I think I would definately pee in my pants at this point if I walked into a room & people yelled SURPRISE! Consider that this family member did you a favor. Now you can look back on the photos & not be wearing yoga pants:)

 

Welp, I am joining this club now!  someone sent me a picture of my invitation!  lol  oh  well, like you said, I  will look good that day now
