Now that we are using WCM I have a few questions.  I know when we were using formula, J had to drink it within an hour or it was tossed.  Is there a time limit for wcm?  Not that I would let it sit out for 3 hours and then give it to him; but how long do you let your LO work on drinking their wcm?  J is using a sippy cup and it takes him a longer time to drink his milk out of the sippy, along with being distracted and wanting to walk around and play while he is drinking.  Also, do you use a new sippy each time you give your LO milk?  I have been, but a friends said she just rinses out the sippy and reuses it for the day.

If my LO Is not drinking his WCM if it is in a bottle or sippy we put it in the fridge. I am a little touchy with letting him have the WCM if it has been just sitting out. If he was drinking a sippy and is going to get a refill we rinse it out but they always all get washed.

DD is also really slow about drinking the milk out of the sippy, it takes her forever to just drink two or three ounces because she's usually running around and playing in between sips.  I usually give her 30 to 45 minutes to drink it, and then I take the cup away.  I only give her 3-4 ounces at a time (we are still slowly introducing and weaning from BFing), so I dump whatever she didn't drink and give it a quick wash/rinse so I can use it the next time I offer her milk.

Hmmm.  Im admittedly more lenient about most things food related.  That said, I usually let dd have her milk sippy at meals and then put it back in the fridge in between.  I use the same sippy all day and dump what's left and wash at night.
