Not sure if I'm having a miscarriage

All week I've had brownish spotting( sorry for the TMI)  then this evening I felt a huge gush of blood. When I went to the bathroom I passed a huge blood clot( about the size of my palm) after that it just felt like I was having my period. Once I got home I passed another one. The bleeding has now slowed down I'm just going crazy because I can't see my doctor till tomorrow and the on call nurse said to take 2 extra strength Tylenol , stay in bed and call in the morning. Has anyone had this happen to them?

    I am going through the same thing.  But I am in the tail end of it.  And yes, the doctor diagnosis was 'impending miscarriage.'  There is a chance that it could be ok.  But if the bleeding is bright red and their are clots coming out - I would prepare yourself. 

     Sorry my response couldnt be more positive.  I know it sucks.  I am having a hard time as well.
