Middle name ideas for a girl named Sawyer...

We have decided on Aydon Hamilton (family name) Rhys for a boy (I love the two middle name idea). If we have a girl we are throwing around the names Parker Jo and Sawyer. We are both leaning towards Sawyer, but we can not come up with a suitable middle name. Any suggestions?

  • I think Sawyer Rose and Sawyer Grace are pretty.

  • Ummm if this is not MUD I will bite.

Aydon is awful, I would go Rhys Hamilton myself...but if you are in love with Aidan at least spell it right.

Parker and Sawyer are not my first choice for a unisex name but they are OK. I would go very fem for the middle name.

Oh man I was pronouncing it eye-dawn!

I would have never thought it was a you-neek spelling of Aidan.

  • Sorry but Sawyer and Parker are boy names. If you choose one then use a very feminine mn like Rose, Elizabeth, etc. not Jo. I don't like three spelling you are choosing with Aydon...its awful really plus I don't understand the two mn thing unless its tradition.
  • Aydon made me lol.

    Sawyer something feminine for sure.

    Sawyer Vivienne

    Sawyer Claire

    Sawyer Jane

    Sawyer Caroline

  • Any particular reason you've chosen a butchered spelling of Aidan?

As for Parker and Sawyer, they're boys' names. If you give one to a girl, at least give her a traditional feminine middle name. Parker Jo and Sawyer Jo are all boy.

  • Sawyer Elizabeth is very pretty. I always think unisex names should be paired with a gender specific middle name.

This. I love unisex names but if it is a more masculine name it needs to be paired with a feminine name!

  • Aydon is Ick!

    Hamilton is a last name

Parker and Sawyer are both nms for boys and just plain awful for girls

I would start by picking a feminine first name, honestly.

Yep. I'm not a fan of unisex names in general, but Sawyer and Parker scream "boy" to me.

  • Is "Rhys" pronounced like "rice"?

I like the name Sawyer for a girl...

I've never heard the name "Parker" on a girl before, but it seems like a lot of names are becoming very unisex.  I for one think "Harper" sounds very masculine, but it's creeping up the baby namer list for girls.
