Talking?

Is anyone's lo saying words yet? Ds just started calling mama last week and it makes my heart melt! At first I wasn't sure if he was actually saying it but then noticed he started doing it when I would walk out of the room. So cute!!!

Re: Talking?

  • My DD is a chatter box but no real words yet :)

  • Mine says dada, but mostly because we encourage her to lol. We point at my hubby and say it and she repeats. But no calling out yet. She's very vocal so I hope she will start saying more soon.

  • DD "talks" a lot, but no real words, although we are starting to notice that she seems to make certain sounds at certain times/while looking at certain things, such as an "m" sound when I take her upstairs at night to nurse before bed (mama?), and a few different sounds when watching our dog (not sure if she's trying to say "dog" or sometimes maybe his name ("scout"). Her most common sound is dadadada but doesn't seem to be linked to daddy yet. She's been plowing through her more physical milestones, though, so I think conversation is taking a backseat right now.

  • My little man does the same thing, when I walk out of the room, he starts going "ma ma ma ma ma ma ma".  It melts me too, even though I don't know if he even knows what he's saying haha.
