cake wording...need some suggestions

I'm drawing a blank for DH's (national guard/military) retirement cake wording.  Suggestions? 

The friend doing the cake suggested "Thank you for your service.  Enjoy your retirement" but that just sounds so...sterile, cold...I don't know.  The people in attendance are going to be me, some of his coworkers, his family and mine and some of his closest army buddies from over the years.

    Go to google images and search military retirement cake. You'll get lots of pictures which should give you some good suggestions.

    Ditto this!  I always use google images (and pinterest) to get wording ideas
