Hello

 Just curious what symptoms or outward signs your baby has that made your pediatrician diagnose hydrocephalus and say he would outgrow it?  Did your son have head ultrasounds or tests that showed fluid on the brain or enlarged ventricles?

 My two month old son had an intraventricular brain hemmorhage and has mild hydrocephalus.  He has numerous head ultrasounds and a ct scan. So far the pediatric neuro surgeon just wants to monitor him and not place a shunt yet bc he has not determined if a shunt will be needed or not.

 I haven't heard of outgrowing it so I guess I just wonder what made your pediatrician say that.  If outgrowing it is even possible I would be hopeful since my son has a mild case...
