Two double strollers

Let me first say we had a great baby shower last weekend! The ladies from my office went in together to buy our graco double stroller travel system that we registered for. My MIL did not look at the registry and she bought a different graco double stroller travel system. These are such generous gifts! Did you ever have a need for two double strollers? Would it have been handy to keep one in your car and one somewhere else? Maybe keep one at the parents? I really don't think we will need two but wanted to check with the experts first.

Are they both tandems? If they are pretty similar to each other I would exchange one so you have one tandem and one side-by-side stroller. I definitely think it's useful to have one of each type but if they are similar I wouldn't necessarily keep both unless you really find it helpful to keep one somewhere else.

I love my Graco but don't have any need for two. It's bulky to lug from one vehicle to another but not unreasonable. If it were me I would exchange it for credit towards a BOB for future use. The Graco is nice for stores and doctors offices, not so nice taking a walk through the neighborhood.

Yeah, this. I'd exchange it and buy a stroller with thicker wheels.

We have a DSNG that we keep in the car for stores, dr. visits, etc. We use the Valco mostly for walks around home and throw in the car if we go to the park.

Agree.  I liked having one tandem and one side-by-side.

We have one tandem (BJCS, used to used the DSNG) for shopping, doc visits,etc., and one side-by side (Bumbleride) for walks.

Once my girls were out of the DSNG, we moved to a SBS and a jogger. So we have 2 strollers, but the jogger rarely goes in the car because it takes up the entire trunk. So the SBS lives in the car, and I use the jogger for walks mostly.

I agree to trade one in for a different type of stroller.  I have a Combi that I use as my "car" stroller, for shopping, doctor, etc., and a Valco that mostly lives at home, but I do use for the zoo and botanical gardens.  I used a DSNG exclusively until the boys were about 6 months.
