Okay this is it. This week I go get my IUD taken out. DH and I know that we want a natural birth. I am over weight and have PCOS; so, I was wondering if you ladies know of any questions that I should ask my Dr.?
If you have PCOS I'd be finding a good naturopath to track your hormonal, thyroid and brain chemistry levels. I had no idea I was nearly at infertile levels after having DD until I started seeing a naturopath and discovered I was seriously deficient in some nutrients as well has hypothryoid and so low in projesterone he was concerned I wasn't ovulating.
I imagine getting all of that under control is why we concieved pretty much immediately with this LO. I frequently wonder if I'd be struggling with infertility issues right now if not for the thoroughness of my NP.
Just my two cents, but I'd start there and give your body every chance possible at being in great shape to conceive. Could prevent a lot of stress and heartache in the process of procreation. I have numerous friends who struggled through PCOS and trouble conceiving for years before finding natural practitioners and having wonderful results. Guess that's why I suggest it from the get go.
Best of luck to you and happy baby making!
