Xmas cards - how many do you send?

I always have a huge list but I think it's getting out of control.  Last year it was more than 125 cards!!!  This year I'm doing e-cards where I can, and I think that if I haven't gotten a card from someone in 2 or 3 years they're off the list...is that too harsh???  We just ordered our cards and I only got 84.  Now I'm thinking I won't have enough.  How many do you send out?!

We send about 100 or so. ?DH has a huge family (his mom is 1 of 9 siblings and he dad is 1 of 10!) ?and we also send to all of my family and some friends. ?We are cutting back this year too though I kept track over the past couple of years and am going to cut back on people that have not sent them to us.

40-50. We don't send to that many people, I guess. It always feels like a lot!

Around 30, which is mostly family.  We've lost touch with alot of our friends over the years.

70.  I am pretty strict about managing the list.  We do a separate batch for co-workers, we both work for huge corporations and have a lot of people we send cards to professionally...they work ones aren't nearly as personal and don't have pictures on them!

About 50. I have gone to the mentality that if people don't send us cards we don't send them cards.  may be mean but it gets insane.

Last year it was just under 100 including my clients.  This year, I think it will be closer to 125-150 with new clients plus new friends...

About 70.  I mark each time I get a card from the person I am sending to.  If I send for 3 years without a card (or phone call) back they don't get another one.  There are a couple of old friends of my DH's parents that we sent to (we do not hear from them) and will cotninue to do so until they die.

We send out well over 100 as well (130ish?).  We're keeping everyone on the list this year because of DS just being born, but if we dont' get cards back from people, they are totally off the list.  It is too expensive to send them to people that dont' care enough to send cards back!
