2. Highlight: On a whim we decided to take the kids to the Feast of Lanterns at Spades Park on Saturday. We rode our bikes and hung out at the park all day, with a quick trip to Yats for dinner then back for the lantern lighting. We had so much fun and the kids loved it.
Lowlight: Worked a 24-hour shift at the hospital yesterday ;/
3. I have a relatively easy work week and am hoping to get a big presentation nearly finished.
4. We went the first weekend. Jocelyn is apparently a dare devil - she loved all the rides and was so sad she wasn't tall enough for the bigger ones. Connor loved the tractors and cows. Personally I loved the fried cheese

We live right around the corner from Spades Park! This is the first year we haven't gone to the Feast. Eli would have been a hot mess if we had tried to keep him awake for the lantern lighting. Glad you guys had a good time! We also had Yats for dinner over the weekend!
1. How are you? - Physically, SO much better. Mentally...well, I've made some mountains out of mole hills recently and now I just need to put on my big girl britches and deal with it. :-)2. Weekend highlight / lowlight? - I volunteered on Saturday and we met with our realtor about getting our house on the market. We're quickly outgrowing our bitty 2-bedroom house!Lowlight - none! 3. What are you looking forward to this week? - Taking a sewing class! I got a sewing machine for Christmas and I'm finally going to learn how to use it.4. Are you planning on going to the State Fair? What do you look forward to seeing there? - Well I just went to their website and found out that it ended yesterday...so I guess not!
1. How are you? I'm feeling great, when I'm not completely exhausted! I changed my shedule and now work a few hours later than normal, so today was definitely a challenge!
2. Weekend highlight / lowlight? Highlight was definitely the amount of time spent with family. It's not always easy fitting different schedules together, but it was much needed! No lowlight.
3. What are you looking forward to this week? I'm looking forward to a relaxing night in the tub.
4. Are you planning on going to the State Fair? What do you look forward to seeing there? I've never actually been to the State Fair. We live pretty north, so it's not an every day drive to Indy.
2. Weekend highlight: FIL's surprise birthday party. Good to sit down eat dinner, and see everyone.
Lowlight: harvest has officially begun, we started chopping corn for the cows.
3. Portland tractor show will be starting. It's also has a trade, and has lots of crafts, brings out my creativity.
4. It was nice to go and see fellow farmers/livestock raisers from around the state. Last year to see the coliseum before the major renovation starts.
