STM's- do your stretch marks hurt?

Fot the last week the stretch marks above my belly, but mostly on the left feel like they are stretching again! I had twins before so I know I am not bigger than before!! It really hurts and feels like my skin is ripping. Is this common?

    I am pregnant with my third and so far my stretch marks don't hurt.  That said, they did hurt when I got bigger with my second baby.  I don't remember them hurting when they originally formed when pregnant with my first.

    Mine have hurt this time around. I don't remember them hurting with my third. I got huge with my second by the end. This time around, I think I've gotten big more quickly. And I'm bracing for another growth spurt (baby's movement has been slower and happening less often...seems like she's just resting and relaxing, LOL). Lotion, body butter, or oil seems to help some.
