First day of school :/

Tomorrow is DS first day of pre-school. I was so excited for him; as was he. Now that we are packing his backpack and gathering class supplies it's really stating to hit me. Anyone else?

We signed our 2 y/o up for "preschool" 2 days a week this year and I am a wreck over it.  I know she doesn't need to go, but I SO would love the 3 hour break and she will benefit from not being up my a$$ every second too.

DS is going for his 2nd year and will be with new teachers.  I also don't know any of the kids in his class.  I just hope he loves it!!

I was fine until the teacher handed me a poem that almost made me cry. DS did not even hug me or kiss me or say bye.

Today is DS's first day of Pre-Kindergarten and I was excited and so was he (and still is).  It didn't hit me until I got to work!  Bittersweet, yes.  I called the school just to see how he was doing and was informed that he was doing great and was eating lunch :-)  Big boy :-)

I almost cried this morning when I said bye to DS. First days are hard!

DS starts tomorrow, and I am freaking out a bit; DH is trying to convince me not to go for drop off. ummm I don't think so.
