Ayone from Lubbock or near there? DH has to go there for four weeks for work so DS and I are going to visit for a week and I'm hoping there will be some fun things to do. Any suggestions?

ETA okay, thinking (and googling for reminders) I've got a few things.

Prairie Dog town (seriously!)

Legacy play village is a park that has a castle and stuff, supposed to be pretty cool

Walter's World of Pets - just a small pet shop, but you they have an alligator you can feed, and monkeys.

Science Spectrum is a kid's science museum

also, go get fried cheese at spanky's, pizza from one guy's, a margarita from chimy's. i miss lubbock!

oh oops! i forgot their margaritas have everclear in them too, no bueno for the bebe! Also, its not local to Lubbock, but since you arent from DFW it will be new to you - Fuzzy's tacos has the best fish/shrimp tacos.
