I would do more exercising. It's hard to get up and take a walk when my muscles were already weak from not walking during pregnancy. I'm sure I would've felt better too.
I also would've taken weekly pictures of the bump. I have one at 25 weeks and one at 40 weeks, but otherwise I don't have any progress pictures. Even a picture every day would've been fun to put into a sequence.

That makes 3 Jan12 moms that are now April13 moms!!!!!!!
Well I'd change a lot but it's nothing I have control over... I would like for my water NOT to break at 32 weeks and NOT have a preemie and for ONCE be released from the hospital and actually get to take my baby with me instead of leaving him/her whether it be for one night (DS#1) or 10 days (DS#2).
I'd love a VBAC but I don't think my doctor is 100% on board because she would have to be in the hospital with full surgery staff during the whole time I labored, just in case. She didn't say no but she wouldn't say yes either.

We're planning on waiting until next year to start ttc but we've had two slip ups so far. Neither of us would be upset if it happened now so it's not really a concern at all. I still haven't gotten a pp period yet because I'm still bf'ing so while it's possible I could be ovulating I dont expect any surprises.
I wouldn't change anything about my pregnancy. I loved being pregnant and was fortunate to have an easy pregnancy and L&D. If anything I would just hope not to have have the heartburn I did, that was brutal.

wel i actually loved being pregnant. the only thing i wish wont happen next time is the extremely stuffy nose i had from week 3 thru the entire pregnancy. i took belly pics but wish i had done profesdional ones...

We are going to actively start as soon as DS turns 1. That way I will be back to work and have enough hours to qualify for another mat leave here in Canada.
With the next one I am not going to freak out as much as I did with DS. I was so concerned after having a mc that it would happen again, despite having a completely Uneventful pregnancy. It was wasted worry and I wouldn't want to do that again. I also plan to keep jogging longer, if possible, and actually weighing myself throughout the next pregnancy! Oh and I would also take more photos of my growing bump, like weekly ones a la something from pinterest

Congratulations Jen! I am currently pregnant as well--due March 8, 2013. We were planning ours close together as well due to my age (I will be 38 when #2 is born) I am hoping to eat healthier this time around. I only gained 25 pounds with my first, but wouldn't you know it, I never took the baby weight off. Well, truth be told--I did lose it all within the first 3 weeks and then slowly put it back on... So I spoke to my doctors and they are all on board with minimal weight gain and so that is my goal. Other than that, I had a really easy pregnancy. Labor was another story but I am leaning towards scheduling a repeat c/s and just skipping the whole labor thing. Recovery was rough for a week and then I was fine after that so I figure as long as I have help, I am good.

Looking back, I enjoyed being pregnant. I really wish I would have controlled my irritation better (I yelled at one of my managers, was overheard by a patient using the f-word to describe said patient's kids, caused DH to consider divorce).
I also wish I wouldn't have stressed so much about breastfeeding or let the hospital staff push me about it. I wish I would have been more diligent about pumping in the beginning.
I wish I had more vacation/sick pay saved up.
I wish I would have had LO in September so I could get full use of my high deductible.
I'm happy I now understand just how much I need to save in my HSA for the next one.
