Aqua Tots Swim School in Troy

I saw this place driving by, looks the same as gold fish, has anyone been there for classes?

  • We haven't taken classes, but I looked into it and you might as well call the place Goldfish.  The set-up and pricing is almost identical.

  • Check out Troy Aquatic Center if you are looking for something in that area.  We had my 2 year old there and I thought it was great and I thought the pricing was very reasonable.

  • Thanks. We used Troy Acquatic Center but kind of disappointed with them. The classes were very large, we didn't get much personal attention and i don't think she made much progress.   Plus they really piss me off because they don't let you use the warm pool during open swim hours, even if nobody is there.

Wow!  Sorry to hear you had such a bad experience. We have only used them for classes, not open swim and both of the classes my son was in were pretty small.  He is now ready for the next level so hopefully he will have a good experience.  If not, I guess I will be looking for some recs just like you!

  • This place is FANTASTIC. I used them in Arizona when I lived down there and we loved them. When we first moved up here there weren't any. Small class sizes, great report with the teachers, and the best part is they take the time to get to know parents and students and they LOVE them.
