Backup Babysitter

Hi Ladies,

I am trying to get some names/companies for backup babysitter, just in case if we need it.  If you have any recommendations, please let me know.  We live in Brookline.  Thank you!

I'm in the same situation actally I have daycare but not sick care like common cold etc., when DS can't go to daycare.
A lot of ppl on here have recommended Care.com, for me the membership fees plus they daily rate for the sitter and company rate for the day, 3 or 4 times a year just doesnt make sense but maybe I does for you if ur looking for something everyday..

I used Sittercity last year. Sounds similar to Care.com

but you can post a job for your specific need so you don't have to weed thru too many people to find someone that will fit your schedule.

Do a search for Moms Day Out - It's a Drop-in Daycare that would prob fullfill your needs. Many DCP's in my area also take drop ins.
