I own about 10 Alva baby diapers. Just make sure the ones you buy have a hip snap on them. I have two that are just a single row of snaps and I get wing droop and she will leak out of it when she takes a nap (I retired those two) All the others with hip snaps are just perfectly fine.
If the house ain't burned down and the baby's fed it was a successful day.
I don't have any Alva's but I do have 2 Kawaii. They are cheap, ie. inexpensive because they are made in China and use poor quality materials. It really depends on your personal tastes. Some people love them others hate them.
I have 21 alvababy double gusset colorful snaps that I use for daycare. I like them and daycare is happy with them. Can't say anything about the b series but I'm glad I sprung for the double gussets. So far no leaks once we figured out the correct size setting.
I haven't bought any from that particular series, but I love my alvas. My only regret is that we use mainly prefolds and covers, so I can't justify buying more. I think it's a great deal for what they charge.
Just so you know, there are a lot of brands out there that are just relabeled alvababy diapers. If you're shopping around and something looks familiar, check if it's an alvababy. You'll save a ton of money that way.
